Impeachment

This trial was brought about by "lawlessness", but the lawlessness was not the lawlessness of President Trump. This trial was brought about by the lawlessness of George W. Bush, and Barrack Obama, and the lawlessness democratic house of representatives, and the prior gutless republican house of representatives. Both Bush and Barrack committed acts which were impeachable, but the house of representatives failed to hold them to account. Thus the power of the presidency grew. This present house of representatives from its first day, broke laws and precedents in law, trying to ready itself for this moment in time. They changed house rules and started down the path of impeachment because of the election of Don Trump. Why ?
Trump is not a representative of lawlessness, he is the people's representative of rebellion, rebellion from this bullshit, phony government which reigns in the United States. A government of little minds and people, who use their power for their own entitlement and enrichment. Trump is not a threat to the Constitution, America, or the people of the United States . . . .Trump is a threat to them, these slimy little creatures of Washington, who have abused the ideals and hopes of our system of government for the last 100 years. I hope he is acquitted but will hold my breath, until it is finally done. Once it is officially done, the real battles will only have begun. Because the ruling elites will finally realize just how powerless they have become. . . . . . . .that is when the rebellion will really have begun.

Enough

I painted this image, during Trump's presidency when the Mueller investigation was going on strong. The impeachment of the president has brought it back into my mind.  The title of the painting is "Enough". If you were looking at this, you would probably being thinking that is a image of me, trying to get away from all the madness. This painting was on public exhibit and people commented about feeling the same way. I smiled and kept quiet, but no one understood what this painting represented. This painting actually represents the politicians and their followers both democrat and republican who will bury their heads in the sand, so they don't not have to see another view point, or admit that their side has the same flaws as the other side.  Since painting this painting, I decided I am in no position,  nor will I ever be in the position to truly judge others. I, myself, do bury my own head in the sand at times, when I don't want to face difficult truths about myself or my beliefs. But on the other hand, many of the beliefs I profess are not my personal beliefs, in the sense, I did not create the belief, or did or do I feel I have the right to decide these beliefs, they are the beliefs handed down through the ages and the traditions of the Catholic Church.  I believe the way I do, because I follow the doctrines and beliefs in the Bible, and in the traditions of faith and religion. So on second thought, to some people, maybe I am the person in this painting, burying my head in the sand . . .Enough . . . .

The Stain of Impeachment

This morning I watched the president's team of lawyers begin the presentation of their case. I thought they did a good job of starting to present their side of the argument. After which, I watched one of the cable news channels, and commentators discussing whether the president will be convicted. One of the commentators said it doesn't matter, President Trump will be stained with impeachment throughout history, that stain will never be removed, because he has already been impeached. I thought to myself, if that was the goal of this whole process, to stain the president, it was really a short term goal and wasn't thought out that well. History is a fickle lady. What if President Trump is re-elected and the economy and the nation continue to improve ? What will this stain mean ?
Just maybe it may mean, Trump succeeded in spite of the Democratic attempt to impeach him. Looking back, democrats will not be able to take credit of any of the successes of the Trump presidency. History could view this impeachment as an added and difficult obstacle Trump overcame during his presidency, to achieve the success he might achieve. This impeachment might add to Trump's greatness. No other president came back from an impeachment to win a second term and strengthen  his party's grasp on power. I am not saying, that will be the case, but if it is, could the stain of impeachment be something the democratic party will have to wear down through history.
The democratic majority of the house, impeached a president, who has created one of the strongest economies in this nation's history. This house majority impeaching a president at a time when the USA was dealing with foreign difficulties around  the globe, undermining this president during trade negotiations, and acts of terror against the US. What if the stain of impeachment ends up on them . . .impugning their motives, and justifications to bring about this process ?  What if President Trump is seen in history as an even greater president because of this impeachment . . .What will the democrats (and their impeachment) have achieved for them . . . .being stained with impeaching a President down through history, only because they wanted to damage his legacy .. . . . .History is a fickle lady . . . . .

Impeachment Folly

The only way this impeachment was ever going to work for the Democrats was if America saw the Democratic majority favoring impeachment as "the guys in the white hats", the same way, these democrats see themselves. During a partisan impeachment it is really difficult for America to see the distinction between the good guys and the bad guys. It is much easier to just see Democrats and Republicans arguing political bullshit. The Democrats knew Trump was not and is not going to be impeached. They knew that, regardless of how delusional Adam Schiff seems during his presentations. The Democrats had to know that, if they didn't know that, they are piss poor politicians, and shouldn't be in charge of our country anyway.  I don't hate the democrats, or Adam Schiff, but I almost pity him, because he does not seem to have a firm grasp on reality.  It is disturbing to me, to think of him being the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, the same way it is at times disturbing to think of Trump as President. To believe the conspiracies Schiff, and the democrats  believe in, you basically have to disbelieve all the executive branch of government and much of the legislative and judicial branches also. Everyone is lying, but the democrats and  few chosen people, they choose to believe. Schiff, as a "guy in a white hat" knows all of Trump and the Republicans motivations and concerns, and they are all evil, while Schiff's and the Democrats' intentions are all honest and pure.
So why would Schiff and the democrats put the nation through an impeachment trial, when he and they knew, Trump would not be impeached, and the impeachment trial would be like a bomb, blowing up the people's faith in the government . . which ever way the trial ended. Why do that?   Patriotism ?    You have to be kidding !!
What happens to the people's faith, when proven or not, Schiff, and the democrats claim the republicans cheated to win the 2016 election, and have already cheated to win the 2020 election. Will that justify half of the nation attacking the other half, regardless of who wins in 2020. If the Republicans win, they cheated, if the Democrats win, they won because Trump was damaged because of this "fake" impeachment. I personally find it extremely hypocritical of the Democrats, to profess a love of this nation, and government, when their acts are hostile to its continued existence. Schiff and the Democratic majority who voted this impeachment  were ready and willing to destroy this government, because they saw themselves as the "good guys in the white hats".  Sorry but this is all just political bullshit, there are no white or black hats . . . .there are just millions, and millions,  of Americans who will become more disillusioned with our government, and more willing to believe anyone on the other side of the political aisle is a crooked son of a bitch. So sad, makes one wonder if America can survive the ignorance, and chickenshit motives and intentions of the ruling class. Both republican and democrat . . .
