Ignorance

 In the age of the computer, the age of information, it amazes me, the only thing the internet seems to spread is ignorance. But that is probably a good thing, because I don't think our political institutions would survive if the people weren't so ignorant. Our society probably couldn't survive either. It is mind boggling how ignorant, even the supposedly brilliant people are. Just for the record, this covid-19 pandemic isn't going to be solved soon. It never needed to be. People die, that is what we do. What is important is the way we spend the time we have to live . . .ignorant . . .And the climate crisis, that isn't solvable either, but like the pandemic, it can be made to look like it is being solved. It isn't, but all that really matters is how it looks. People who have spent their lives worrying about those types of problems are the ones we run to for answers, and they have basically pissed their lives down their pant legs worrying about things that can't be control . . ignorant . . .but not so bliss in this day and age. . . .

Prayer

Dear Father,

please protect me from evil,

both within the world,

and within myself,

keep my mind and body focused on serving You,

instead of myself and others,

please share with me your Holy Spirit,

help me understand, 

what it is that I am to do,

to daily serve you,

in this I pray,

with all my heart.

Morning Sun

morning breaks,

new life,

with the return of the sun,

this day must not be wasted,

but lived to the fullest,

for morning breaks,

full of life.
