Mom's photograph album

I thought the Jake and Katrina's wedding was truly beautiful . The church was amazing as was the space outside. I had flashbacks to playing in the yard of the rectory in Crawford, watching Robert play outside with his grandkiddos . .
       Now a couple of things.
-seeing the same concern on the faces of my siblings that I see on my wife's face almost on a daily basis, this happy fat man has agreed to attempt a few changes to hopefully lose a pound or two, and get a little healthier. I am happy with who I am, but I don't like to think I cause anyone concern,
so will be walking even more, and eating less, and trying to be more active, but no promises.
-I also would like to give a big shout out to Marilyn, Amanda, John and William for their help with Ethan. Thank you Marilyn and Amanda for bringing the meds. we forgot, and thank you Marilyn for walking with E and I and helping calm E down. The same thanks to you John for talking and walking with E, he many times feels the outsider and it makes him uncomfortable. Which is why I want to thank you William, for always making E feel like you have his back. He particularly asked for you, when he was sitting in the car. Thank you, Thank you. I would also mention, Ethan had some difficulties getting through the wedding and reception, but think he did great.  . . .Because of his meds. he is not supposed to be subjected to heat (one of his meds. hinders his ability to sweat), and that day was definitely hot. He also was going without his daily nicotine, as we left early in the morning, so we had our pipes Friday evening. I think next time we will pack some pipes and just take time out to have a smoke if we are having difficulties. I am not attempting to make excuses for E, just taking some responsibility for putting him in those situations.
-finally thank you for all the nice comments on my book of poetry. I am really proud of it, as each poem in it is inspired by a memory or memories I hold dear. For those of you who haven't gotten a copy, and would like a copy, just let me know. I am selling the books for $10. I have sold around 40 books, but still have around 60 I would like to get sold.
Love and prayer to you all. I feel blessed for every moment I am allowed to spend around you all, and thank God daily and nightly He blessed me with my family.
Doug
