red rocks,

by a river of blue,

beautiful,

but where are the trees of green.

Christ on the cross,

symbolic of the love given,

and the burden carried,

loving everyone,

willing to believe.

Dismal from the highway

dismal from the highway,

not the view,

but the river,

misnamed,

dismal it is not,

maybe River Solitude.

Red flowers

red flowers tower to the sky,

beautiful in a comforting sort a way,

soon to die,

in the winter cold,

so enjoy them on this Autumn day.

a blue rabbit

a blue rabbit,

and maybe a horse,

unsure of the reasons  why,

red and blue on white

flowers,

or only colors,

hard to decide,

pretty in either case.

the artist did not know,

who only saw colors on canvas.
