unsure of the reasons  why,

red and blue on white

flowers,

or only colors,

hard to decide,

pretty in either case.

the artist did not know,

who only saw colors on canvas.

scary thoughts,

but not as scary as losing the process of thought.

growing wild on the prairie,

now captured,

and imprisoned in a vase.

the river bends,

and twists,

a snake looking to escape these hills of sand.

and whom does it belong to?
